KKVI The Community 89.9 FM and 95.9 FM Mission statement is to serve and educate an interest or who are involved in radio,
television, web-casting and other related media ventures.
We ensure a commitment to education and a student's pursuit of excellence through active involvement in electronics media. We
promote cooperative efforts between KKVI Communications and other national, regional and state media broadcasting organizations.
We promote the facilitation of discussion of issues related to student-operated electronic media and other community-oriented programs.
We serve the City of Garland, Texas and surrounding communities through radio broadcast.
About Our History
KKVI Radio, The Community 89.9 FM and 95.9 FM Mission is a radio Network. Our primary station is KKVI 89.9 FM is located in Overland, TX, serving
Hopkins County. We provide programming to KKVI INTERNET RADIO. KKVI 95.9 located in Garland Tx Dallas County.
We are broadcasting to serve the communities Garland, Sachse, Rowlett, an dFlower Mound.
Our hours of broadcast operations are 24 hours a day seven days a week. Our format consists of
community-based information with MOR (middle-of-the-road, non-offensive) music. Weekends from Saturday 12:00 Noon - Sunday Evening, we provide a Christian broadcast with various Gospel music and Christian ministry.
The programming is also rebroadcast over station K240DS Garland, TX at 95.9.
Tis station operates as a non-commercial operation funded by private corporations and individuals of a grant and/or donation basis.
This station operates with the Authority of the Federal Communications Commission, based in Washington, D.C.
